Yesterday, we published the 52-edition of the Slots Launch Weekly Roundup newsletter, which means that our LinkedIn newsletter is officially a year old!

And over the course of the last 52-weeks, a total of 4,270 new slots and other casino games have been brought to market. That’s an insane number of games and we expect that number to be even higher over the course of the next 52-weeks.

In our day-to-day business, we do our best to be as diplomatic as possible with all 457 game providers that we have integrated into our platform. We take this approach because with our business model, we do not have a financial relationship with any game providers, so we’re able to treat them all equally regardless of their stature in the industry. And since we do not have a fiduciary duty to any individual game providers, we genuinely wish each and every game provider the same level of success because when they’re successful, the entire iGaming industry stands to benefit from it.

Having said that, in our weekly newsletter, we do get to show our bias a bit by highlighting the games that we think are the best of the best. As a general rule of thumb, each week we highlight roughly the top 30% of games for the week and then we go one step further by giving a shout out to the providers that we think had a game that was amongst the top 10% of new games for the week. We don’t go beyond that and crown an official #1 game each week because once you reach the top 10% of games, it largely becomes a matter of personal opinion as to which game is truly the best. But rest assured, if a game makes it into our top 10% in any given week, it has been pitted against the other 90% of games for the week and is truly deserving of some recognition. After all, we’ve virtually played every single game that’s ever been made for real money online play and we’re confident that our ability to identify hit games is as good as it gets.

Because Slots Launch consists of a team of just 2-people (seriously), we’re not quite ready to go through all 4,270 new games from the last year to give away any accolades at the game-level, but we would like to share with you a list of game providers that we feel have absolutely smashed it with their games over the past 52-week period.

In analyzing the 394 games that we’ve identified as being in the top 10% each week over the past year, those games belonged to 106 different game providers. Of those 106 game providers, a total of 75 providers were able to accomplish this feat with at least two of their games. And of those 75 providers, 48 of them were able to crack our top 10% with at least three of their games. When you go one step further, there were 35 game providers that cracked our top 10% with at least four of their games. And it’s these 35 that we’d like to give an extra special shout out to below.

All of the game providers above are without question absolutely smashing it. Time and time again, they have demonstrated the rare ability to create blockbuster titles that players absolutely love and can’t seem to get enough of. And while this isn’t an official attempt at bestowing awards by any means, please know that you guys have our total respect for the work that you do in creating some of the best games on the market.

Now, how we landed on the 35 game providers above wasn’t very scientific by any means, but it is a fair assessment and accurate reflection of the information that we analyzed when putting together this article. Nevertheless, we wanted to dig just a little bit deeper, so we’ve taken these 35 game providers and calculated the percentage of their total games released over the last 52-weeks that made it into our top 10% of games each week.
